GoCardless - A payment platform that facilitates automated payment collection, primarily through Direct Debit.
Bank transfers - keeping you in control of your finances
Cash - Cash is King and will always be accepted

Our most prominent form of payment is Go-cardless.
The reason for using this source of payment method is for ease of use for our customers and reducing your task list, allowing you one less bill needing to remember to pay.
Customer Experience is the heart of Big Sam's and anything we can do to improve it for you then we will.

- Direct Debit Guarantee - You can be reassured that your payments are protected by the Direct Debit Guarantee, ensuring refunds for any fraudulent or incorrect payments.
- Hassle free payment for cleans - You will notified of a payment being activated, allowing you 5 days to have the funds available in your bank or to contact us to make an adjustment.
How to set up your Go-cardless account with us in 5 easy steps!
Firstly follow the link sent to you, upon choosing Big Sam The Window Man, you will be redirected to the go cardless sign up page.
If you require the code again, then just simply message Leanne and she will get this sent over at super speed.
Then simply follow the 4 steps below:




Bank transfers
If you prefer the more traditional approach and like to manage your money independently then fear not, we have you covered!
All bank details will be provided on the slip/mini invoice posted after your clean has been completed and if you require a full invoice then please do provide your email address and we can pop it over to you.
We allow 14 days for payment and are always happy to discuss payment plans should you require a larger and more expensive service completed (spreading out the payments as required).
Bank details can also be requested from the office - should the dog eat your invoice or you mislay the payment slip.

Cash
If you like to stick to the more traditional methods, knowing where you stand with your money and/or giving you the flexibility of payment then this is always an option with Big Sam The Window Man and Big Sam The Mowing Man.
So if popping to the post office in Crowborough or paying out of your cash earnings in Burwash or Uckfield is your style then
We are always happy to accept cash and will provide change where required.

Cheques
This is the one and only payment type we do not accept, and I am sure 85% of people don't even have a cheque book these days.
Our bank currently charges £3 for us to submit a cheque, even if done on the banking app, cheeky in our opinion!
Unless we were to pass this charge onto customers then we are unable to accept this form of payment.
Example a service completed for £18 would then only be paying us £15, or alternately a service costing £18 would have to be increased cost to £21 for our customer although the same service is being supplied. This completely interferes with our pricing structure to ensure fair and precise quoting for all.
There is always an however... Flexibility with cheque payments (as a last resort) - if you are having a lot of work completed in one go, or a higher priced job than your regular cash payments covers, please do not hesitate to discuss payment methods in advance so we can find the best solution for you.

So what happens next - In the Big Sam head quarters!
Once payment is received, we use our bank statements and worksheets for cash payments, to manually upload bank transfers and cash payments to our cleaner planner system and each individual customers unique job.
As with all data entry systems, human error can and does occur (every now and again)!
This does not give you bad credit and a simple phone call, e-mail or message confirming the date paid can match our accounts and be updated in no time at all.
Apologies in advance if you are one of our customers I have made an error for - I am always at the end of the phone ready to update and correct any errors which do occur.
